I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and a Nationally Certified Counselor with over twenty-five years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities. My professional background includes work as a therapist, school counselor, educator, nonprofit founder, group practice owner, and clinical supervisor. These roles have shaped a practice grounded in compassion, integrity, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.
My approach is person-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed. I integrate evidence-based practices such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and experiential approaches to support both emotional healing and practical, meaningful change. I believe growth happens through relationships built on safety, trust, and collaboration, and I strive to create a therapeutic space where people feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward at their own pace.
Whether I’m working with clients in therapy or supporting clinicians through supervision and consultation, my role is not to fix or direct, but to walk alongside—offering reflection, guidance, and care as individuals deepen their self-awareness and confidence in who they are becoming.
Outside of my professional roles, I’m a mom to three adult children and share my home with two much-loved fur babies. As a military spouse of more than 25 years to a now-retired service member, I understand the rhythms of transition, resilience, and starting over that military life can bring. I find deep restoration in nature—especially hiking—and I try to move through life with a sense of wonder and appreciation for beauty. Hawaii holds a special place in my heart, and any time spent there feels like coming home to myself.
At Heartspace, I bring this same sense of care, presence, and respect into my work—creating a space where healing, growth, and becoming can unfold with intention and compassion. It would be my honor to walk alongside you in your journey.
